Kia Stinger range and colours leaked

This afternoon, a dealer bulletin was leaked to Australian car publication CarAdvice revealing the model grades and colours of the upcoming Kia Stinger.

The Stinger range will be split into 6 model variants – 3 with the 190kW and 353Nm turbo 4-cylinder, and 3 with the flagship 272kW and 510Nm turbo V6.

The 4-cylinder range kicks off with the 200S, followed by the 200Si and then the GT-Line. The bulletin did not mention specific details about these models, however – the GT-Line will not be a fully fledged performance model, it’s just a styling pack.

However, we do know a lot about the V6 models. The range starts at the 330S, then the 330Si and then the flagship GT. Let’s start at the 330S – main equipment highlights include a variable gear ratio, Brembo brakes and a limited-slip differential. Further,  the 330S features keyless entry with push-button start, leather-bolstered cloth seats and a 7-inch infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Stepping up to the 330Si brings AEB, lane-keeping assist, smart cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, 19-inch alloys, a larger 8.0-inch display, a nine-speaker sound system, and a full leather interior (rather than part cloth). Finally, the GT brings a blind-spot monitoring system, selectable suspension (the driver can soften or firm it), LED headlights, / tilt and reach adjustable steering column, a powered sunroof, Nappa leather, memory driver’s seat, a heads-up display and a 15-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system.

Colour wise, the non flagship models (200S, 200Si, 330S, 330Si) can be ordered in Standard colour options for the 200S, 200Si, 330S and 330Si will include a dark purple known as Panthera Metal, Silky Silver, Ceramic Grey, Sunset Yellow, Hichroma Red and Micro Blue and Deep Chrome Blue (the final one available at a cost). On the other hand, the GT-Line and GT have the same colour options, however – they swap Panthera Metal for the cost option Snow White Pearl and Aurora Black.

In addition, black is the standard interior colour across the range, with GT-Line and GT buyers having the option of red leather.

I know it’s a lot to process, but what do you guys think of these details? Let me know down below! I’m so pumped for the Kia Stinger’s launch later this year, and I hope you guys are too.

    1. I absolutely ADORE the Stinger too. If you’re wondering about the exhaust, watch this little video (note this is Korean, it may sound different here): youtu.be/gg_BbOzfiEk. And in regards to your question, sadly no – it will only be available in an 8-speed auto WITH flappy paddles.
