Yesterday, Ford announced that its upcoming, facelifted 2018 Mustang GT will come with a new mode called ‘Drag Strip’ which brings some pretty nifty stats.

In the US, all 2018 Mustang GTs come with ‘Drag Strip’ mode, a mode designed for, well, the drag strip. Who knows what it changes to the car, but there’s one thing we know for certain – in this mode it can hit 60mph from a standstill in ‘less than 4 seconds’. That’s very impressive for a 460hp RWD muscle car – under 4 seconds is BMW M4 CS and Lamborghini Gallardo territory.

The Mustang EcoBoost also gets a 0-60mph boost to ‘less than 5 seconds’, mostly due to its 30lb-ft torque upgrade. What do you think of this new Mustang change? Does it make you more concerned about Cars and Coffee crowds? Let me know!
