Today, Audi teased the next generation of their E-Class fighter, the A6, ahead of a reveal at the Geneva motor show.
The short video released by Audi doesn’t show much – it just talks about starting the countdown.
However, it does show some (albeit short) shots of the new A6. Right off the mark it’s easy to see that this has bears a major resemblance to the larger A7 Sportback and A8 flagship sedan, as you’d expect.
We don’t know much else about the new A6. The powertrain range is believed to consist of a mix of petrol and diesel inline-4 and V6 engines, with the S6 and RS6 performance heroes expected to use new twin turbo V8 engines – 48V mild hybrid systems are also expected to feature on V6 models. Technology wise, the new A6 will carry over much of the autonomous technology from the A7 Sportback, as well as Audi’s new dual infotainment displays.
No official reveal date has been confirmed for the A6 yet, but it can’t be too far off. What do you think of the new A6? Let me know!
