On Friday, Ford teased the upcoming Mustang Shelby GT500.
The teaser image released shows a dark photo of the front of the car. It looks completely different from any other Mustang, as the grille now has a much larger opening that takes up the whole front of the car – this is kept sturdy with two vertical support bars. The GT500’s nose seems to line up with that of previous teaser shots, renderings and spy shots.
Above: teaser shot but with insane exposure
When you turn the exposure and brightness up, you can start to see some more of the unique elements of the GT500. These include its massive chin splitter, DRL arrangement and massive bonnet/hood bulge.
When it launches in the next 12 months, the Mustang GT500 will be an aero beast packing over 700 horsepower. What do you think of the teaser? Let me know.
