Today, Jaguar confirmed that that a high performance SVR version of their F-Pace SUV will debut at the New York motor show.
The SVR will be the “fastest and most powerful F-Pace” to date. It is expected to use the same 5.0L supercharged V8 as the F-Type, paired with AWD and a 10-speed automatic. In the F-Type, that engine produces 422kW of power and 700Nm of torque, and can hit 100km/h in 3.7s towards a 200mph top speed. However, don’t expect the F-Pace SVR to hit those performance figures – it’ll have the same power and torque, but 0-100 will happen in 4 seconds and top speed will likely be around 185mph. Suspension and brake components will also be upgraded – as well as a new chassis tune.
Aesthetics wise, the F-Pace SVR will get bigger wheels, more aggressive front and rear bumpers, a new spoiler and some interior touches.
