Today, news broke that the Tesla Model Y compact crossover will begin production in November of 2019.

According to Reuters, two anonymous sources with “knowledge of the supply chain” have revealed this information. They also confirmed that Chinese production of the Model Y will begin around two years later, in late 2021.

In case you haven’t heard of it, the Model Y is Tesla’s smaller SUV based on the USD$35K Model 3 sedan. It was teased back in June of last year – click here for details.

What are you thoughts on this report? Will Tesla actually make that date, or will it succumb to more production bottlenecks and slowdowns? Let me know below.
