Alfa Romeo has announced a new Carbonio Edition of its Giulia Quadrifoglio, starting at $143,900 plus-on-road costs.
Despite the identical price tag, the Carbonio gets $8500 worth of extra equipment over the standard Quadrifoglio. Key additions include a dark finish for the 19-inch alloy wheels and carbon-fibre trim for the mirror covers, front door sills, gear lever, steering wheel and grille. It will be available in two colours: Trofeo White and Competetizione Red.
Mechanically, the Carbonio Edition is identical the regular model. It uses the same 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 which sends 375kW of power and 600Nm of torque to the rear wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission – 0-100km/h is covered in just 3.9 seconds, on to a top speed of 307km/h.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Carbonio Edition is on-sale now, limited to just 20 units. Want one? They’re all likely sold out.
