An image of the upcoming facelifted BMW 7 Series LCI has leaked online ahead of its official debut.
The single image was leaked by a Russian Instagram use on the social media platform overnight. Despite being deleted shortly after it was posted, many reposts from other users have allowed us to see that the updated 7 Series will adopt an overhauled look compared to its predecessor. The kidney grilles have been supersized (just liked its X7 SUV sibling), which are now flanked by slimmer, high-tech laser headlights. Below them is the redesigned lower intake section, with a slim, aluminium-edged full-width vent that is sleek and contemporary.
Along with updated styling, the BMW 7 Series LCI is expected to debut later in 2019 with improved infotainment and extra technology. In addition, it will feature a revised powertrain lineup, with the range-topping V12 set to be replaced with a more emissions-friendly twin-turbo V8 from the M850i xDrive coupe and convertible.
