Renault has teased the 2019 Clio, ahead of an online reveal on January 28th.
The short video shows a number of close up angles of the new supermini. It begins by showcasing the car’s exterior, showing the redesigned front grille with prominent Renault diamond logo and CLIO side badges. It then moves inside, to the two-tone sports seats, updated steering wheel and classy dashboard trim.
The new Clio is expected to be radically different from its predecessor. While the design may be evolutionary, it will ride on a new platform, boats improved safety, a much nicer interior and a range of new engines. A new-generation Clio RS will arrive down the road, with a detuned version of the 1.8-litre turbo in the bigger Megane RS.
Stay tuned to Redline pour le Clio’s full unveiling tomorrow.
