Volkswagen has teased its upcoming T-Roc R, ahead of a full reveal later this year.
The short video shows the upcoming SUV doing laps of the famous Nürburgring circuit in Germany. Sadly, the car’s covered completely in camouflage, so it’s hard to discern many of the R’s styling details.
However, we do know that it’ll likely be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine from the Golf R, producing 220kW and 400Nm. 0-100km/h should take under 5 seconds.
Based on the timing of this teaser, a full unveiling for the T-Roc R at the Geneva motor show is pretty likely. Stay tuned to Redline for that.
