Alfa Romeo has confirmed they have “something new up their sleeves” that will be revealed at the Geneva motor show next month.
Speaking with online publication Motor1, an FCA representative announced the following: “Alfa Romeo will be at the Geneva Motor show in full force with our award-winning lineup and something new up our sleeves as well. We’re excited to show everyone a taste of what’s next in the world of Italian performance and luxury. Stay tuned on March 5 to see a glimpse into the next chapter of Alfa Romeo’s legendary story.”
But, what exactly will Alfa be revealing? The most likely option is a new compact SUV – recently rumoured to be based on the Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X, the new crossover will get plug-in hybrid power and will rival the BMW X1, Audi Q3 and Volvo XC40.
Alternatively, the company could be showing off a concept car of some sort, which would provide a “glimpse into the next chapter” of Alfa production models.
Alfa Romeo’s debut will be taking place on March 5th, on the opening press day of the motor show. Stay tuned for all the details.
