McLaren has unveiled the Senna GTR, a hardcore version of its Ultimate Series hypercar.
Whereas the standard Senna can be driven on public roads, the GTR is limited to racetracks only.
Limited to just 75 units, the wildest Senna extracts 607kW of power and 800Nm of torque from its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, thanks to a revised ECU and the removal of the secondary catalytic converter.
To improve its performance around a track, the GTR produces 25 per cent more downforce than the road-going model (1000kg), and tips the scales at just 1188kg. Part of the weight saving is attributed to the deletion of many of the interior luxuries, such as the infotainment system and road seats.
Deliveries start later this year.
