Hyundai has confirmed that its upcoming sub-Kona SUV will be dubbed the ‘Venue’.
The Korean brand claims the name references “a place where people want to be seen, or in this case, inside the vehicle”. It strays from the brand’s recent SUV naming convention, which focuses around popular US tourist destinations – examples include the Kona, Tucson, Santa Fe and Palisade.
The compact SUV is set to debut on April 17th, at the New York auto show. Stay tuned for the Venue’s full reveal.
