Today, Jaguar teased the upcoming E-Pace SUV before its debut on July 13.
The teaser image shows the rear end of the car, displaying its rear lights and badge. We can’t see much else, sadly.
The E-Pace is said to be a ‘compact performance SUV’ aimed at the Audi Q3 and Range River Evoque. Design wise, it will look very similar to the larger F-Pace, and will get cues from the F-Type sports car. Powertrain details are not confirmed, but it is likely to be built on the LR-MS platform used by the Evoque, and will feature 2.0L 4-cylinder ‘Ingenium’ petrol and Diesel engines and an ‘sports car derived’ AWD system – according to Jaguar design director Ian Callum, “the combination of sports car looks with Jaguar performance will ensure that the E-Pace stands out”.
The E-Pace should be an interesting car when it launches this July, especially at its rumoured price point of below $50,000. What do you think? Let me know down below!
